The 21 Day Detox

I have taught nutrition for some of the biggest companies in the United States, and I have worked with hundreds of men and women from around the world – and I can honestly say that there is nothing more powerful to shift your life and health than a 21 day Reset.

How do I know?  Well because it is my story …

Nine years ago I became incredibly sick.  I was in and out of the hospital – Dr’s were only offering me pills, and surgeries.  These were treatments to mask my problems and get rid of my symptoms but they did nothing to get to the root cause of what was making me sick …

And I wanted to fix my problem, not mask it.

So, I started my first food-based cleanse and it completely changed my life.  

My cleanse lasted 21 days.  Parts of it were hard, I felt cold, I had extreme detox symptoms including headaches, flu-like symptoms, and emotional releases, but once day 21 rolled around my whole entire perception on health had changed.

When you cleanse and detox (and do it for the right amount of time) you shift.  

You:

  1. Become in tune with your body  
  2. Find a place of abundant energy,
  3. Start to have complete control over the way your body looks and feels,
  4. Your skin glows, and you radiate energy.

Cleansing and detoxing don’t have to be hard and fast.  It is meant to be beautiful and transformative.  

It doesn’t have to mean deprivation or massive amounts of self-control. When you come from this with the right support, the right tools, and being prepared it feels easy and amazing.

Cleansing gives us and an excuse to get quiet and listen to what our bodies are telling us.  

It gives us time to get back to ourselves, take control of our eating habits, and check out of our hectic lives and into our true selves.

I see it more as a spiritual practice than a diet.

For me, it has become a ritual.  A time to tune in, and really to check in.  A time to open up the dialogue between my brain and my body again and I invite you to find it on some level for yourself. 

You don’t have to do a full cleanse, or even cut anything out, adding one thing in for 21 days can be life altering!  

What if, for the next 21 days, you added in a meditation ritual or a better sleeping pattern?  What if you just stuck with that one new habit for 21 days?
